Digital Test and Evaluation Portal
The primary objective of this project is to develop a role-based Digital Test and Evaluation Portal that simplifies academic assessment management through a centralized web platform. The system provides structured access for students, staff, and administrators to improve efficiency, reduce manual errors, and enhance the overall digital evaluation process.
Problem Statement
Traditional examination and evaluation methods often rely on manual processes or multiple disconnected platforms, making test management time-consuming and inefficient. Colleges and organizations require a centralized system that can easily conduct MCQ and coding assessments while providing secure role-based access for students, staff, and administrators. This project aims to address these challenges by offering a unified digital platform that simplifies test creation, participation, and evaluation.
Literature Review / Market Research
-Platforms like Google Classroom, Moodle, HackerRank, and NeoColab provide online quiz and coding assessment capabilities.
-While these platforms offer useful features, many are complex or not optimized for simple role-based workflows required in colleges and organizations.
-This analysis highlights the need for a lightweight, centralized system that combines MCQ and coding tests with easy management and evaluation.
Research Gap / Innovation
• Existing platforms usually support only one type of assessment (MCQs or coding), while our system integrates MCQs, descriptive answers, and coding tests in one unified portal.
• Many current tools lack AI-based features such as automatic question generation and intelligent evaluation, which our platform introduces to reduce manual effort.
• Existing solutions are either too basic (like forms) or too complex and expensive for colleges. Our portal focuses on a simple, customizable, and college-friendly experience.
